About Goodwood Sandstone Flagstone Flooring
Goodwood sandstone flagstone flooring is part of our Timeless Stone Collection and is selected for its understated colour palette and authentic flagstone character. Defined by soft neutral tones with subtle warmth, Goodwood delivers a calm, architectural look suited to both period-style interiors and sympathetic modern designs.
Unlike smoother limestones, Goodwood’s lightly brushed and honed surface introduces gentle texture, giving the stone a natural, established feel reminiscent of traditional sandstone floors.
Sizes & Specification
Goodwood sandstone is supplied in:
- 600mm widths with random lengths (up to approximately 900mm)

Care and sealing
Sandstone is porous and must be sealed. We seal before grouting and again once the floor is finished, then every two to three years depending on wear.
Clean with warm water and a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Never use acidic, bleach-based or “limescale” cleaners. Wipe spills promptly, especially wine, oil and anything acidic, and use felt pads under furniture.
Outdoors, a breathable sealer protects against staining while letting the stone dry out. Brush off leaves in autumn and avoid pressure-washing at close range, which opens the surface.
Delivery and returns
Kerbside pallet delivery is £70+VAT per pallet. A pallet is up to 1000 kg, about 15 m². Allow 3–5 working days. The lorry needs a level, driveable surface. Delivery details.
Returns follow the supplier’s conditions: undamaged stone, packed as delivered, with collection at £70 per pallet and a restocking fee. Read the returns summary.
Installation
We install within 40 miles of Shaftesbury and supply nationwide. If we are laying the floor, delivery is arranged as part of the job. How an installation runs.
